Here In My Home - Malaysian Artiste For Unity

A group of Malaysian Artistes have come together to produce a Song / Music Video to promote Hope and Racial Unity. The Song is titled: “Here In My Home”.

Free Public Lecture: “Question of the Age – Can we live to 100?”

Have you thought of the question “Can I live to a 100 years old”?

- If you are in your retirement, you most probably have. You might have 100 questions to ask as well. This talk is for you.

- If you think you are young, and wonder if your parents or grandparents can live to a ripe old age, this talk is also for you.

 

In conjunction with the Batu Pahat Chinese Chamber of Commerce Centenary Celebration next month, the organizing committee has invited Prof. Dr. Kua Ee Heok to deliver a lecture :-

             Lecture title    :    “Question of the Age – Can we live to 100?”

             Date               :    Saturday, 28th June 2008.

             Time               :    4.00pm. (Admission Free)

             Venue            :    Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Jalan Rahmat, Batu Pahat.

 

Prof. Dr. Kua is a local boy, finished his Form 5 in HSBP, 1965.

He is currently Head and Professor of the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University of Singapore. He is also the Chief and Senior Consultant Psychiatrist, Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at the National University Hospital, Singapore.

Water disruption in Batu Pahat and surrounding…

Water disruption

All housing estates and villages along Jalan Batu Pahat-Kluang, from Pekan Sri Gading to Parit Raja, will face a 12-hour water disruption from 10am today. Affected areas include Kg Baru, Jalan Parit Karjo, Taman Universiti Parit Raja and Jabatan Pertanian Parit Raja. For details, contact SAJH at 1-800-88 7474.

There will be a 12-hour water disruption in Batu Pahat starting at 10am tomorrow. Affected areas will be Kg Bukit Batu, Parit Ahmad, Parti Penghulu, Parit Bukit Batu Pasir, Kg Koris, Kg Muhibbah, Parit Balak, Parit Terus, Parit Bukit Batu Laut, Parit Simpan, Parit Tariman, Parit Kasih, Parit Sayang, Taman Senggarang, Kompleks Peladang, Jalan Besar Koris-Senggarang.
