Another of Batu Pahat’s famous Bariani. Restoran Bariani Power at Taman Soga.
Located at 18 Jalan Tukas 2, Taman Soga, it’s very popular with many. Came here after a long time of not eating their Nasi Bariani.

The Bariani Gam Ayam.

Exposing the ‘ayam’ hidden below the rice.
It ‘s always enjoyable eating it.

This is the Bariani Gam Daging.

Mum seems to have enjoyed it.

Between Bariani Mohd Shah and Bariani Power, I think I prefer power’s version. It’s less oily.
Well, here’s the menu for you to try other things.

Well, they have catering as well. Think they have a branch in Shah Alam. Anyone knows that it’s still there?
Just the other day, I was having laksa at the Simpang Rantai corner, we parked our car on the road beside the Shell Station. Then I saw this.
LIM GEK KIA NAIB.
I remember seeing this all over BP when I was in secondary school long long ago.

Anyone can tell the rest of us who this Lim Gek Kia is? Naib? Naib apa? Naib Pengerusi?
I was back in Batu Pahat the last few days and the big tree at Simpang Rantai Roundabout looked so different!
A few months back, Tigersden and other mentioned that the tree was striked by lightning and it was dying.
Then suddenly leaves was seen coming out of the trimmed tree.
Here’s the tree this week. View from Jalan Rahmat.

View from Jalan Kluang.

The tree looks very healthy now isn’t it?
