Very happy to see the existence of such a website. If you have time, highlight people from Batu Pahat that have made it. Be they in KL, Spore, JB, etc. I have been away from BP and abroad and end up finding malay, chinese, and indian from batu pahat doing well away from kg nd still keeping close to kampung.
By the way, you missed several really good eatery like legendary Baryani Mat Shah by the bridge, lontong Parit Botak, newly famous Baryani Power, Mee Bandung next to ole Odean, those many krepik and kueh kampung in Parit Taja, Simpang Tiga, etc.
COntinue with this good work. Up with Batu Pahat, down with Muar
Hi InnInn, welcome to another person from BP! It seems most people find this site from Google!
Anak Bagan, there’s lots of things to post. But so little time. You want to contribute articles? I shall go back soon to re-makan all the famous food, together with my camera.
Yes, lots of people from Batu Pahat that’s made it big outside BP. You are one of them I suppose
I stumbled upon this site a few years back but it was administered by another person. I guess you are the 3rd person to take over the website. Good to know that it’s getting livelier. Keep up the good work, Philip!
Thanks for the time and effort in putting all photos and stories together via internet. Well Done! Well Done! All the old memories ….. Ai Chun Girls School, B.P. High School, Ah See Wonton Mee, …..many many more …. after living abroad since 1980, I still remember all these ……

Yoi, I bought the domain in 2005, but it had a diff design. maybe the one you saw was not the .org version it might be .com or .net of the same name
As usual, asking people who have stories to tell about Batu Pahat to email me. It would be a great read for everyone.
