WOW!! It just amazes me that people from hometown Batu Pahat are working and living all over the world.

The following 2 photos are contributions from Paul Lim who is currently in Mongolia. He happened to surf by this website and saw the Montfort School postings. He wants to share these 2 pictures to the rest of the Montfort Alumni.

He took out his camera and snapped the old photos and sent them in. He notes that Mr Long looks the same in both photos.

    I’m not sure about the 1st photo but the 2nd photo should be dated 1983. That was when Paul, Char Chin and I were in Darjah 6. Is it possible to send me the contact for Paul Lim? Many thanks!

    Yep, the second photo would be that of the class of ’83 cos I’m from class of ’82.

  6. omigosh, i recognize some people as being from the same year as I am, except I went to Convent and then to TIGS. I think I see Tong Mun Yee, Lim Eng Yong, ?Kor Cher Bann, maybe even Yap Soon Meng & Chin Huat and some others whom I’ve forgotten their names already. Philip, maybe you can message Paul Lim ( i wonder if i knew him ) for me and tell him i was in the same school year as him, and might have gone to the same tuition classes or something. Thanks !

  9. Ah, I met Choon Chiang one time when I was a medical officer,some time in 2002 or something like that. he had become a doctor too . I’ll bet he’s some kind of super dooper specialist by now, that brainiac.:)

    lmao@mr long looks the same!!!!1…. he really does, doesnt he…. his youngest son was my junior in college here in fayeteville, AR….. took the opportunity to tell him horror stories about how his dad used to “abuse” us…lol…

  20. the form teacher for 6B as you mention was Mr Koh Guan Hee. I still see him once a while and guess wat he is not a day older.

    Gosh! You’re in Mongolia, Paul? What’s Phillip’s full name?

    Mr. Koh, our ex-deputy headmaster looks pretty much the same. Mr. Long, I heard has passed away not long ago. Don’t know how true that is.
