I was told this might be the one of the earliest hotel that existed in Batu Pahat.

Try Pinetree Hotel, it’s the newest hotel in BP with modern decor
I am surprised to hear all the nonsense on the Katerina Hotel. We have to compare apple to apple. Other hotel in Batu Pahat has no fitness center,no swimming pool, no central a/c, all the wall so thin as make from board not bricks, so little staffing. For the price the hotel charge, it is reasonable. Have you guys check out their newly renovated rooms. It will blow your mind away. Simply the best.Be fairlah
I have nvr been to batu pahat b4.any bus from Larkin central to the place.?
I was in BP recently, and stayed at one of Katerina Hotel’s newly refurbished rooms. Wow! Wow! Wow! Huge, clean and modern – and a snip at RM$220 per night. As the only hotel in BP with a pool, I must say that it was well maintained and clean. I also loved the furniture (double deck chairs etc) and potted plants by the poolside. Staff were very friendly. OK, now the negatives: they charged for wi-fi (RM$30 per day), breakfast was poor and from my room I could hear people talking in the corridor [due to paper thin walls]. Overall, I’d rather pay a bit more and stay at Katerina.
