  1. Try Pinetree Hotel, it’s the newest hotel in BP with modern decor

  2. I am surprised to hear all the nonsense on the Katerina Hotel. We have to compare apple to apple. Other hotel in Batu Pahat has no fitness center,no swimming pool, no central a/c, all the wall so thin as make from board not bricks, so little staffing. For the price the hotel charge, it is reasonable. Have you guys check out their newly renovated rooms. It will blow your mind away. Simply the best.Be fairlah

I was in BP recently, and stayed at one of Katerina Hotel’s newly refurbished rooms. Wow! Wow! Wow! Huge, clean and modern – and a snip at RM$220 per night. As the only hotel in BP with a pool, I must say that it was well maintained and clean. I also loved the furniture (double deck chairs etc) and potted plants by the poolside. Staff were very friendly. OK, now the negatives: they charged for wi-fi (RM$30 per day), breakfast was poor and from my room I could hear people talking in the corridor [due to paper thin walls]. Overall, I’d rather pay a bit more and stay at Katerina.

  5. Bad to hear that bro.. If you looking for cheap & good deal hotel why not you try budget hotel? I been to BP last 2 week & also last week. First i stay at boutique hotel call B&S hotel near to the batu pahat bus station. Nice deco but overall just ok for me.. The service is just ‘ok’ :(
Then 2nd i try one hotel named Golden Pearl Hotel near seri gading area. At first i was kind of phobia of ’boutique hotel’ that doesn’t look like boutique at all & hava a bad service.. But once i walk in what i can say is WOW.. The big Baby life photo in the lobby was really kind of stress killer! Then when i enter the room i feel very calm & relax.. The room was very new & clean enough for the budget hotel. I think they just renovate it not loong ago.. I like the life photo concept in the room :) i paid Rm90 but i get 3 star hotel experience hahah…! You can try if want to save some penny!
